Need help? Head to le J. Le J, Angers connectée jeunesse is a centre run by the City of Angers to provide young people in the town with the information they need. The team at Le J will be happy to offer help and advice on things like accommodation, training, job searches, studies abroad or leisure activities.
A range of grants and cheap deals are available to help you manage your money. Le J, Angers connectée jeunesse has packed them all into a free guide for you (handed out onsite at 12 place Imbach).

Sport - Angers has something for everyone, with 6 swimming pools, a 770-seat ice rink, a leisure park at Lac de Maine, a skate park, 42 football pitches, 2 of which have stands - Jean-Bouin and Lac de Maine, 2 hockey pitches, 4 rugby pitches, 15 athletics tracks and 69 gymnasiums, sports halls and training grounds. With all this on offer, it’s no surprise that the pace of life in Angers is set by major sporting events. Angers SCO football club, ice hockey team Les Ducs d'Angers, women’s basketball club Ufab and La Vaillante table tennis team are all at premier level in their disciplines.
Culture - Angers also has 8 concert and exhibition halls and a network of 9 libraries which hold regular events and activities. From movies to music, with street theatre and creative art along the way, students in Angers enjoy an action-packed events programme: Tempo Rives, Les Accroche-Coeurs, La Fête de la Musique to name but a few.
